    Head of Piano at the New Zealand School of Music since 2011, Dr Jian Liu has an established international performing and teaching career. At the age of 12 Jian Liu was accepted into the prestigious Beijing Conservatory, then when he was 15 he moved to the USA and started winning competitions

    With a special interest in chamber music he's in hot demand as an ensemble player and has formed the Te Kōkī Trio with his NZSM colleagues. Today Jian Liu talks with Kenneth Young about his life in music (RNZ)
