Clark says Labour brings fresh blood

11:59 am on 4 November 2008

Labour leader Helen Clark says there is a huge generational change going on in her party, and it can offer new blood if it gets back into government.

Speaking on Nine to Noon on Tuesday 4 November, Miss Clark said 20% of Labour MPs who won in 2005 were not seeking re-election.

She said that means her party would offer a fresh perspective and change.

Miss Clark said she was not contemplating defeat come election night.
