Lately's weekly cross to the team at the BBC World Service and tonight Bryan speaks with correspondent Audrey Tinline about the final days before the US presidential election with a particular focus on the early voting.

As the UK returns to a nationwide lockdown, Audrey will also speak with Bryan about the World Health Organistion pointing to Europe being the epicentre of the Covid-19 pandemic.

10:45 Dr Victor Dieriks - catching Parkinson's early 

A University of Auckland scientist is looking at ways to treat Parkinson's before the illness causes serious symptoms. 

Dr Victor Dieriks works in the Centre for Brain Research, in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences. 

He's been granted nearly $600,000 to continue his work - look at a type of protein that accumulates in the brains of Parkinson's sufferers.
