Too much kaimoana being taken from rock pools

Residents of Omaha Beach, north of Auckland are concerned visitors to the area are gathering huge amounts of kaimoana and the rock pools at the end of the beach are being decimated. Locals say the current gathering limits are too big and that the pools and their living inhabitants are taonga that need to be treasured for future generations.
