New petrol station brings cheaper prices for Wellington

Queues of cars were lined up down the street last night, after the new Waitomo petrol station opened in Upper Hutt. It means there's now price competition in Wellington - where fuel prices regularly reach 2-dollars-30 a litre At this new station 91 unleaded is 40 cents cheaper. Waitomo's managing director Jimmy Ormsby was on hand all day and spoke to our producer Lydia Batham after a long day pumping gas.
