Treaty Talks is a visual podcast hosted by Kara Rickard that dives deep into the history and impact of Aotearoa's founding document, Te Tiriti o Waitangi. The series aims to cover the essentials of this crucial agreement between Māori and the Crown.

Throughout the series we hear from a range of Māori experts—lawyers, academics, and treaty educators—who break down what a treaty is, why it was needed, and the key differences between Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the English version, the Treaty of Waitangi.

Each episode delves into different aspects of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the topics surrounding it. From the arrival of Captain Cook and the establishment of the New Zealand Company to Treaty Settlements and constitutional transformation, this series covers it all.
