The Australian cricket great Shane Warne says he shocked at the ejection of the Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab from the Indian Premier League, over ownership issues.
Warne, who captained the Royals to success in the inaugural IPL tournament two years ago says he hopes the sport's governing body in India, the BCCI will come to its senses and reinstate the teams.
The BCCI announced at the weekend it was terminating the franchise agreements of the two teams, alleging breaches of ownership rules, although it hasn't specified what the breaches are.
