Firefighters in Invercargill have freed a driver trapped when his vehicle collided with a fuel tanker.
The crash happened just after 5am on the corner of Rockdale Rd and Boxall St.
A Fire Service spokesperson said the tanker was empty and there was no fire risk at this stage. The road is closed.
