Christchurch red zone access cards stolen

Red zone ID and security passes, uniforms and order books were stolen from the Christchurch suburb of St Albans on Friday night.

Police are warning the items could be used to buy goods or gain entry to the red zone or residential properties.

The clothing includes blue overalls marked with "Aotea Electrical", a Fletchers orange fluoro uniform with a white helmet and yellow earmuffs, and a Ward demolition uniform.

The missing items incude a Fletchers ID and red zone security pass - number 161640 - and Fletchers and Ward demolition order books which can be used as cheques with suppliers.

The items were stolen from five cars at a group of flats on Champion Street. They also include a set of golf clubs, tools, horse saddles and three limited edition black T-shirts inscribed with "Hotel Grand Chancellor Demolition".
