A man found dead in a hot pool in a central Rotorua park on Tuesday has been named.
He was Kerry Hern, aged 67.
The police said there were no suspicious circumstances around his death in Kuirau Park and it has been referred to the coroner.
Detective Sergeant Richard Lang said Mr Hern's family have lost someone special to them, and they are asking the public and media to respect their privacy.
