The police in Dunedin are hunting for a stolen septic waste truck.
They say the distinctive blue and yellow truck was stolen from a plumbing company in The Glen in Dunedin at 4.30am today. It has "Barry Dell Plumbing" written in large letters on the side, and the registration number TR-9930.
The police say the driver tried to buy fuel for the truck three times around Dunedin this morning, and there was also an unconfirmed sighting in Oamaru at 11.45am.
