Cooler temperatures in Canada's Northwest Territories and British Columbia are bringing hope that wildfires ravaging the country are easing.
But the depths of destruction are just beginning to come to light - with more than 30,000 people driven from their homes and at least fifty houses destroyed in British Columbia.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has described "apocalyptic" scenes.
