The Government is giving itself a big pat on the back for announcing an energy deal with the world's largest investment firm BlackRock, which it says will help New Zealand reach its 100% renewable electricity goal.
But others are not so sure about the deal, with scepticism over BlackRock's other investment activities, and confusion over just what the government's involvement actually is.
