The nurses' gender equity claim has hit another snag over back pay.
The settlement had been largely agreed to with the district health boards but nurses belonging to the country's largest union have voted to ask the Employment Relations Authority to review it and decide whether it's legal and fair.
The Nurses Organisation polled its 40,000 members after a backlash over the settlement not including backpay to December 2019 as many nurses had expected.
