Australian science research a boys' club - study

From Morning Report, 8:30 am on 27 November 2017

A new study points to how Australian science institutions routinely lock women out of research funding. The data shows men have overwhelmingly been the recipients of research grants in engineering, health and medicine over the past decade in Australia. Most of these men chose to work in male-only teams. Associate Professor of Physics at Auckland University Nicola Gaston wrote the book Why Science Is Sexist. She joins us to discuss the study's findings.
