District Court overturns Tenancy Tribunal ruling

A Dunedin District Court has overturned an earlier Tenancy tribunal ruling thst ordered local landlord Vic Inglis to pay a tenant almost $11,000 in rent because the tenancy was never lawful in the eyes of the tribunal. That means Mr Inglis will receive a full refund and the decision is likely to come as a relief to landlords everywhere.
