National bids rule to boot out 'anti-social' state home tenants

The National Party is promising to be a government of infrastructure if voted in next year.

Improving social housing and giving the country's roads a major funding boost are among the proposals in its last discussion documents.

It's also floating the idea of a rent-to-buy scheme for reliable state housing tenants.

However, with the carrot comes the stick, with National proposing powers to boot out tenants if they refuse to change their ant-social behaviour.
