A young man from Bihar, one of India's poorest regions, has become the first person to win the top prize on the Indian version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire?
The BBC reports Sushil Kumar was previously earning $US150 per month from teaching. He is newly-married, so, needless to say, his winnings will come in useful.
