Three firebombs were thrown at the Egyptian embassy in Jakarta on Tuesday.
Ambassador Ahmed Al-Qawisny told state news agency MENA that they caused a small fire, but no one was injured.
He said the fire was quickly extinguished and security was stepped up afterwards.
