The Irish Times is reporting that a 55-year-old Serbian-born man, with New Zealand citizenship, is among three people arrested.
The arrests came after a raid on a house in Fermoy where cannabis plants worth about $378,000 were growing.
One room of the house had 300 cannabis plants growing.
The Irish police said they believed the house had been operating as a cannabis growing facility for about a month.
The police can hold people suspected of drug crimes for seven days before they are charged or released.
