The Crown says it believes it has a strong case against those charged in the Urewera raids, otherwise it would not be proceeding.
Four people will stand trial next year charged with firearms offences and being members of an organised criminal group.
The Crown alleges they had a general intention, as part of that group, to commit crimes including murder, arson, and kidnapping.
Crown Solicitor Ross Burns says the case against the four is robust and the Crown would not be charging people with such serious offences if it did not think there was evidence there to justify the charges.
