Politicians say they are waiting for answers on the effects of welfare reforms on Maori.
MPs sitting on the Maori Affairs Committee want to know about welfare for women and solo parents who get the domestic purposes benefit
They have asked the Ministry of Maori Development Te Puni Kokiri for answers and are waiting for a response.
But the ministry has given MPs information about a programme it is providing for a small number of beneficiaries.
It says it's working in south Auckland, Waikato and Bay of Plenty to re-engage people in education and training.
