The National Basketball Association says it has fined the owner of the Miami Heat Micky Arison following reports that he used his Twitter account to comment on the league's four-month-old lockout.
The NBA wouldn't give the amount or reason for the fine, but several media reports said Arison was fined $500,000 for his comments.
Arison was responding to a message from a fan accusing teams and players of being greedy pigs, although the Miami owner has apparently been pushing for a resumption of play.
