The New Zealand road cycling champion and dual Olympic Games medallist Hayden Roulston says he'll have the best of both worlds under the terms of his deal with the newly-merged RadioShack Nissan Pro cycling team.
Roulston says he's excited at having the prospect of rubbing shoulders with some of the sport's greatest names, including Fabian Cancellara and brothers Andy and Frank Schleck, under a deal that will leave him free to compete for the New Zealand track team, and won't affect his bid to ride in next year's London Olympics.
Roulston's currently back in New Zealand for the Tour of Southland, and after a disappointing European season he concedes he will have a point to prove when he returns to Europe in January.
