The New Zealand rugby great Sir Colin Meads feels the All Blacks probably played their final last week.
The All Blacks held on for most of the second half to beat France 8-7 at Eden Park on Sunday night to secure New Zealand's second World Cup title.
However Meads feels beating Australia last week probably took a lot out of the players mentally and it needed the crowd of more than 61,000 to get them through.
Meads says the crowd must've stirred the team up and made them hang on because they'd played that big game against the Wallabies and it was hard for the All Blacks to get up for the French as there was a feeling they'd win by a huge score.
