The New Zealand Residents 18s side's had to settle for a drawn series after losing the second
match against the Australian Secondary Schools Rugby League 40-16 at Auckland's Bruce Pulman Park.
After the young New Zealanders' 28-26 win last Sunday, a large crowd turned out hoping to see the young guns make it two-nil, but it wasn't to be with the Australians proving too strong.
The New Zealand Resident 16s take on their Queensland Academy counterparts at Massey Park on October 18th.
