The legendary tennis Hall of Famer Margaret Court believes Australia's newest grand slam winner Sam Stosur has the perfect chance to dominate the women's game over the next couple of years.
Stosur broke Australia's 31-year female singles major title drought yesterday with a 6-2 6-3 triumph over American Serena Williams in the US Open final, and Court, who won 62 major titles during her glittering career, says Stosur could conceivably add more titles to her collection in the near future, with no one player dominant in the womens game at the moment.
Stosur's parents, who watched the match with some friends in their Gold Coast home, said the experience had been numbing.
