Manchester City have confirmed their signing of the French midfielder Samir Nasri from Arsenal on a four-year contract, understood to be worth $47 million.
Nasri's long-awaited move to Eastlands was finally completed after he passed a medical and he is likely to go straight into Roberto Mancini's squad for this weekend's Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.
The 24-year-old becomes City's fourth major signing of the year.
Nasri was in the final year of his contract at Arsenal.
