Rally New Zealand has been confirmed on the 2012 WRC calendar.
Local organisers had been confident of the New Zealand event returning and the world motor sport body the FIA confirmed it's place today.
No date has been given for the rally.
It is expected that New Zealand and Australia will rotate a down under event in future years.
