The International Cricket Council says the Champions Trophy will be held from September 24 to October 5 next year after the September event in Pakistan was postponed due to security concerns.
The eight-team tournament will be held in a single city after being cut by five days to 12, including a reserve day for the final.
The decision was taken by the ICC's executive board which ended a two-day conference at its headquarters in Dubai.
