The Warriors fullback Wade McKinnon will have to go before the National Rugby League judiciary on Wednesday for allegedly spitting at a touch judge in his side's win over Penrith in Auckland yesterday.
The NRL's match review committee has referred the incident directly to the judiciary but the club's CEO Wayne Scurrah says they will vigorously defend the charge.
With the Warriors still in line for a top eight spot McKinnon's possible suspension would be a major blow to the Warriors finals chances.
