The Los Angeles Galaxy football team head coach Ruud Gullit has resigned for personal reasons, while Alexi Lalas has lost his job as president and general manager.
The Galaxy, led by England midfielder David Beckham, are in the midst of a seven-game winless streak and are fourth in Major League Soccer's Western Conference.
First-year assistant coach Cobi Jones will take charge on an interim basis, while Galaxy look to replace Gullit.
