A tentative start to the A-League football season continued yesterday as Central Coast and Adelaide played out the seventh draw of the opening 10 matches at Bluetongue Stadium.
A less than enthralling start to the season means only three points separate the eleven teams with Perth, North Queensland and Central Coast on top with four points after a win and a draw apiece from the opening two rounds.
Gold Coast, Newcastle and Adelaide are next on two points with two draws each followed by Brisbane, Sydney and the two Melbourne sides, the Heart and the Victory, on 1 point after a draw and a loss.
The Wellington Phoenix are also on one point but in a stronger position than the other's with a game in hand after sitting out round one with a bye before drawing with Gold Coast on Friday.
