The Wellington Phoenix have completed their pre-season build-up to next month's A-League football competition with a win over top Argentina club Boca Juniors.
The Phoenix beat the former club of Argentinian football legend Diego Maradona 2-1 in Wellington.
Phoenix captain Andrew Durante and new striker Dylan McAlister scored both the home side's goals, but Durante also managed an own goal in what was at times a spiteful game.
Boca captain Christian Cellay was sent off late in the game after receiving his second yellow card.
The Phoenix's opening match of the A-League season is against Gold Coast in three weeks.
