David Tua's boxing trainer Roger Bloodworth is confident Tua will soon shed the label as the best contemporary heavyweight never to be world champion.
Bloodworth's known Tua for nearly 20 years and has trained him exclusively for the last five years. The pair have been training in New Jersey for the Samoan's 12-round main event fight on July 18th against former world title challenger Monte "Two Gunz" Barrett.
Bloodworth says Tua is a more confident fighter today and very experienced. He's moving a lot defensively and is no longer a one-handed fighter, punching well with both hands and, surprisingly, even throwing a good jab.
Maori Television will broadcast Tua's fight.
