Belamy doesn't blame buildup for loss

The New South Wales rugby league coach Craig Belamy is refusing to blame the team's disastrous buildup for last night's big loss to Queensland in game two of the State of Origin series in Brisbane.

Queensland won 32 points to 6, scoring six tries to one to seal their fifth straight series title.

The Blues camp was thrown into turmoil last week when winger Timana Tahu walked out over racist comments from assistant coach Andrew Johns, who later resigned.

Bellamy says it's no excuse for last night's performance.

His position is now likely to come under review.
