Penrith have beaten the Bulldogs 31-16 to press its National Rugby League minor premiership claims.
Winger Michael Gordon scored a hat-trick of tries and bagged 22 points in the win that moves the Panthers up to second on the ladder, on the same points as leader St George Illawarra.
Penrith was without representative trio Petero Civoniceva, Luke Lewis and Trent Waterhouse - but the home side coped far better without its stars as Gordon ran riot.
