The New Zealand cricket captain Dan Vettori believes the Test career of pace bowler Chris Martin isn't over despite taking only one wicket in the series against Australia.
The Black Caps lost the series 2-0, with Australia winning the second Test in Hamilton by 176 runs, after their 10-wicket win in Wellington.
Martin, who's 35-years-old, has taken 181 Test wickets but failed to trouble the Australian batsmen in his latest two matches, bowling 62 overs but returning the figures of one for 260.
Vettori says he hopes people don't starting writing Martin's cricketing obituary, as he's determined to reach 200 Test wickets.
He says with eight months before New Zealand's next Test he's confident Martin will regain his form.
