Wayne Rooney scored twice as Manchester United cruised into the quarter-finals of the European Champions League football competition with a 4-nil win over AC Milan at Old Trafford.
The result gave United a 7-2 aggregate victory over the Italians.
Meanwhile Spanish giants Real Madrid failed to qualify for the quarter-finals for the sixth straight season when they were dumped out 2-1 on aggregate by Olympique Lyon.
Real's dream of winning a 10th European title at their Bernabeu stadium in May was shattered when the French side equalised in the 75th-minute in a 1-all draw in the last 16 second leg.
Cristiano Ronaldo had put the home side ahead in the sixth minute.
