1:57 pm on 15 February 2010

The New Zealand rugby sevens team has beaten Kenya 21-7 in the Las Vegas leg of the IRB series to secure a place in the Cup final.

Kenya took an early lead with a converted try three minutes into the match, but New Zealand's Zar Lawrence scored between the posts seconds before half time to lock the scores 7-all at the break.

Kurt Baker and Lote Raikabula made their way over the try-line in the second half to seal the victory for New Zealand, with Tomasi Cama making sure of the win by kicking both conversions.

New Zealand will play either Samoa or Australia in this afternoon's final.
