There is a three way tie at the top of the domestic 20/20 cricket competition after the previously table topping Otago Volts lost by six wickets to Canterbury in Dunedin.
The loss allowed Auckland to jump from fourth to join Otago and Central at the top of the ladder after the Aces beat the Northern Knights by 18 runs in Auckland.
Central missed the opportunity to go to outright first on the table after Wellington beat the Stags by 19 runs. The result also lifting the firebirds out of last place.
