The Melbourne Rebels winger Lachlan Mitchell will sit out the rest of the Super Rugby season after fracturing his knee.
Mitchell was playing his 50th match for the club - the first player to do so - in Melbourne's 32-8 loss to the Waratahs when he suffered the injury.
Two other Rebels squad members are expected to be sidelined until May.
