The Otago cricketers have ended their Plunket Shield programme with a 4 wicket win over Northern Districts inside 3 days in Dunedin.
Otago reached their target of 131 in 25 overs... however their Test opener Hamish Rutherford was unable to get amoungst the runs.... he got a pair in the match.
Otago finish second.
Champions Canterbury are 531 for 8 in their first innings, a lead of 128 over Central Districts with a day to play in Napier.
Tom Latham made 261.
Auckland is 328 for 8 in their second innings a lead of 424 over Wellington at Eden Park.
