The New Zealand under-19 cricketers have beaten Canada by five wickets in a warmup match to their World Cup in Sharjah.
Canada were dismissed for 119 in 46 overs with Jack Hunter, Jeremy Benton and Henry Collier taking 2 wickets each.
New Zealand reached their target of 120 in the 36th over with Ken McClure top scoring with an unbeaten 59.
New Zealand play the West Indies in another warmup match tomorrow.
Their first match of the tournament is against Sri Lanka this weekend.
