Namibia opened their qualifying campaign for next year's Cricket World Cup in style with a 91-run victory over the Netherlands in a Group B clash at Mount Maunganui.
An all-round team performance saw the Namibians post 253 for six from their 50 overs after being sent in to bat, while the Dutch were all out for 162 near the end of the 37th over.
In the only Group A clash of the day, a 130-run partnership for the second wicket saw the United Arab Emirates defeat Canada by 80 runs at Rangiora Oval.
The World Cup will be held here and in Australia in 2015.
