Wallabies coach complains to IRB

4:19 pm on 8 November 2013

Australian rugby coach Ewen McKenzie has fired off a lengthy submission to the International Rugby Board demanding answers for what he claims is unfair treatment of the Wallabies scrum.

McKenzie, a former tighthead prop, was incensed by what he saw as blatant inconsistencies by the Irish referee George Clancy in last weekend's 20-13 loss to England, and he staunchly believes the Wallabies scrum continues to be harshly adjudicated by referees due to history and perception.

McKenzie can't under understand how you can win your own scrum ball cleanly, but cop a 7-0 scrum penalty count.
