An American yachting journalist says Oracle Team USA faces an uphill battle to retain the America's Cup, and most San Franciscans are supporting Team New Zealand.
Oracle won the first of Sunday's two races by 52 seconds thanks to a near-capsize by the New Zealand team, but the holders still trail by six races in the first-to-nine-wins competition.
The day's second race was called off due to high winds in San Francisco Bay.
Jeff Bell, a sailor and reporter for KCBS News in San Francisco, says Team New Zealand has captured the imagination of San Francisco locals.
Bell says the local sailing community believes Oracle cannot win the America's Cup from its current position.
