New Zealand bobsleigh team announced

The former Olympic sprinter Chris Donaldson has been named in the New Zealand Bobsleigh team to compete at next month's World Championships in the United States.

Donaldson is joined by Alan Henderson and Willie Trew in the two-man bobsleigh with Sam Higgie and Tom Davie added to the team for the four-man races.

Donaldson, Higgie and Davie all come to the sport from athletics while Trew has a rugby background.

Henderson, an experienced pilot based in the UK, will be the driver for both events.

The World Championships will take place next month at Lake Placid in New York.
