Auckland City is through to their third consecutive Oceania Champions League final after downing Fiji's Ba 1-0 at Govind Park on Saturday.
Leading 6-1 on aggregate from their first leg efforts at Kiwitea Street last Sunday, Auckland City always looked in control.
The visitors extended their aggregate lead to 7-1 when Alex Feneridis scored with a right foot free kick just six minutes into the second half, a goal that means Ba's wait for a first finals appearance since 2007 continues.
The identity of Auckland City's finals opponents will be confirmed tomorrow evening when Waitakere tackle Amicale from Vanuatu with a two goal cushion after the first leg.
No OFC Champions League final has been contested by two clubs from the same country, but Waitakere can make that a reality if they can get a draw or better at Fred Taylor Park on Sunday.
The final is scheduled for Saturday 19 May in Auckland.
