The Chiefs captain Craig Clarke is in a race to be fit for Saturday's Super Rugby final in Hamilton against the South African side the Sharks.

The 28-year-old injured his knee in last week's semi-final win over the Crusaders and has been given until Thursday to prove his fitness.

Clarke rates his chances of playing at about 70 percent.
